Our Story
Our family lives in Southwest Virginia, surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We’re blessed with four wonderful children and four Australian Labradoodles — two of whom are our foundation girls who inspired and launched Blue Ridge Delightful Doodles.
Our journey began in 2020, when we welcomed our first Standard Australian Labradoodle into our home. At the time, we were searching for an allergy-friendly breed after learning that our oldest son experienced asthma flare-ups triggered by cats and dogs. Having previously loved our Labrador Retriever, Bella, we were drawn to the Australian Labradoodle’s joyful, outgoing nature — and it didn’t take long for us to fall completely in love with the breed.
What we didn’t expect was just how extraordinary they truly are. Beyond their soft, teddy bear coats and low-to-non-shedding appeal, Australian Labradoodles are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and happy-go-lucky personalities that effortlessly adapt to any situation. Their eagerness to please and gentle spirits make them exceptional companions and the perfect fit for family life.
It has become our passion to raise happy, healthy, delightful Australian Labradoodles — from the very first breath to the moment they bring joy to their forever families. Every puppy is raised in our home with love, intention, and care, so that they can bring the same warmth, laughter, and connection into yours.
They are truly delightful — and a reminder that “it’s not a home without an Australian Labradoodle.”
